Wall system

All wall panels of the Anico timber-frame houses are fitted with a state of the art cellulose insulation. Our purpose is to ensure that lightweight construction type buildings can be used as economically as possible!

The advantages of cellulose insulation:
It is exempt of any harmful substance - it is fully natural, no health risk involved.
Good filling up capacity - it fills up even the thinnest and tiniest cavities.
Due to its high volume density (40-55 kg/m3 blow-in density in the attic, and 45-65 kg/m3 blow-in density in walls) and the way of felting it shall not shrink, keeps its form, no heat bridge even with the lapse of time.
We impregnate it with mineral salts, so it resists to rotting, keeps rodents and insects away.
Non flammable, because of its borax content (B2 category).
It is capable to absorb and discharge 30 percent humidity without being compacted, getting shrunk, losing its insulation capacity.
Under intense heat it remains cool for a long time. It heat reduction is 6 to 8 times of that of fibre based materials, therefore it gets warmed up as much slower.

In winter it is pleasantly warm, due to its extremely high heat storage capacity it uses 26,4% less heating energy then a building insulated with mineral wool.

Its sound insulation capacity is also remarkable, a sound reduction as much as 55-58 dB can be achieved.

Cellulose insulation is nothing else but newspaper, that is separated to its staple fibres by way of a recycling process. Its processing can be twofold: it is either cut to small pieces - in this case the fibre piles are shorter, or the paper is crushed to form long fibre piles. During both processes the printing process plumb content is extracted, and the result is clean cellulose, exempt of any substances harmful for health.
